i can have sex again!

ok.. so i know the title got your attention.. lol

so i had my first "official" OBGYN appt today.. i am 9 weeks and he did an exam (but no ultrasound... poopers) and said my cervix looks great! and everything feels in the right positions, and after he checked the spacing of my pelvic bones, says it looks like i should be fine for a vaginal delivery (never knew that could be a problem)...

he says i should continue my progesterone shots till i am 12 weeks.. so yay... they will end soon!.. lol he actually gave me enough syringes, since i was out, to last 3 more weeks.. and said.. when you run out of these, stop taking the shots.. heh... good way to measure time.. lol

he also says i can go to the chiropractor as long as they do easy adjustments (my Chiro has specific maternity techniques to use.. thank goodness)

and best of all...... i get to have sex again... lol i had been put on pelvic rest from my RE so have not had sex since before the FET.. so it's been a while.. lol... so i had to ask...
and later in the car, when i was gushing about how we can have sex again... DH says "but it freaks me out.. that's like Tigger Beans home... what if i poke his head or something?" lol!!!! he just makes me giggle sometimes.. lol after i mentioned that that kind of aversion means he will not be getting sex for 9 months... he said.. "oh.. maybe i can get over it then"..... lol!!!!!!!!

but the funniest part of the whole visit was the exam itself... which since they needed to get cultures, was much like getting a pap, but the dr had to also use his fingers to feel and measure.. and i looked over at Dh who was sitting in the chair by the door and he had this look of horror on his face that read "what the Hel! are you doing to my wife?" like i said, he makes me giggle sometimes this is why hubby's are rarely in the room for paps and such...

oh if only men had to go through what we do so often.....

i'm just excited i get to have sex again... hee hee...

next appt is September 1... ;-)
